Welcome to Critic’s Corner! This is where we will give a review to a restaurant, a movie, or anything else! This week, we will be reviewing Black Star Bakery! This is a unique coffee shop and bakery on 2-10 50th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101 (there are also other locations including Williamsburg, Upper East Side, and Gramercy Park). It mostly serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. On Monday to Friday, it is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. And on Saturday to Sunday, it is open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. You can get food from here delivered to your house using some apps like Seamless or Grubhub, you can pick it up, or you can even eat there! It has really good baked goods (the chocolate chip cookies are sooo good!). Also, most of you probably don't know this, but a new location is being made...(drum roll)... in replace of Dorian’s Cafe!!! This will be on 10-01 50th Avenue, Vernon Boulevard. This new place will have many new fun features including Mediterranean cuisine, more kid-friendly meals, and even a juice bar! Anyway, the new cafe is hopefully going to open around early winter so we can go! Overall, I would probably rate Black Star Bakery a 8 out of 10, which is pretty good! So that's all for Critic’s Corner! Bye!
