DIY Peppermint Bath Bomb Snow

This month, we shared a recipe for Peppermint Bath Bomb Snow! It is the perfect little gift, whether you give it by itself or as part of a spa kit. This soothing bath snow is the perfect winter treat for a nice warm bath after being outside in the cold. You can also change up the scent by substituting any liquid fragrance for the peppermint extract.

Peppermint bath bomb snow:

Ingredients

4 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 tablespoon water

1/2 tablespoon peppermint extract

1/2 cup baking soda

1/4 cup corn starch

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons epsom salt

Instructions

Step one: Combine the lemon juice, water and extract in a small bowl. Then, pour it into a spray bottle.

Step two: Add the dry ingredients- baking soda, corn starch, salt, and epsom salt- to another bowl.

Step three: Spray in the liquid mixture while mixing until the consistency is like oobleck (changing between liquidy and solid-ish).

Step four: Add in the coloring. If you want it to look kind of candy-cane like, don’t completely mix in the coloring.

Step five: Let it dry in the bowl overnight, or for about 10 hours.

Step six: Once it is dry, crumble it into tiny pieces, like snow. Now you are done!
