It's a chilly season, and a good time to be cooking warm food! Here are a few recipes to make to warm up. The first one is pumpkin seeds. Carving pumpkins is a pretty big part of October (aka the month of Halloween!), but to carve the pumpkin, you need to take the seeds and the guts out of the pumpkin. But what do you do with the seeds? You can bake them into delicious, healthy snacks! Here's how:
Ingredients
A sharp pumpkin cutting knife
An giant spoon or something similar
A strainer or a colander if necessary
A towel, cloth.
Instructions
Step one: Heat oven to 350°F. Clean and prepare seeds, then spread seeds in an
un-greased baking pan. Add some butter until all is covered. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper for flavor.
Step 2: Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown and crispy. Make sure to mix during the first bake!
Step three: Cool your awesome seed for about 10-15 minutes! Enjoy!
